The English Preparatory program consists of 4 levels: beginner, pre-intermediate, intermediate, and upper-intermediate. Weekly class hours vary between 20-27 hours.
The standard education period in the Preparatory School is one academic year, and the maximum education period is two academic years.
Students who fail in the first year can enroll in the courses offered in the Summer School, taking into account their level. Students who do not prefer Summer School must repeat the English Preparatory Program for one more year on the condition that they fail in their first year.
The level at which students will study is determined according to the results of the Placement Exam at the beginning of the academic year.
Since it cannot be decided whether the student's level of English is sufficient for the program they are enrolled in, the student cannot continue their studies in their departments and will be placed in a level in the Preparatory School according to the score they get in the Placement Exam.

The results are announced in the 'Announcements' section of the Department of Foreign Languages on the OSTİM Technical University website. In addition, students can learn their grades by following the Student Information System.
